Well, I'm back on track... pretty much. I weighed in at 237.6 lbs! That means only 7.6 pounds away from my goal. My goal of 230 I set thinking that once I got there I would continue to lose fat and work on gaining muscle to even out the loss. So far I haven't done anything to work out though, so I may start or just cruise on by my goal and then build muscle later to come back up to it. I don't know. What do ya'll think?

I am not quite back on track though I am close. I was hoping to be below 180 today BUT I had two lazy depressed days this week and ended up with 180.6 lbs . Jack said it was becaaaaaaaause I didn't run and I agree with that because yesterday I ran and I was able to go-go-go the rest of the day and get everything done that I needed to and still felt good.
Yesterday, I ran 1.8 miles and the first mile took me -get this- 10 MINUTES! That is a record for me folks. I need to work on endurance and distance training because the last .8 took me another 12 minutes.

Keep it up you guys :) You are doing so great. Jack, I think that if you don't do anything to get muscle then you should go beyond your goal. But, gaining muscle would be awesome and make you feel really good. You could run early in the morning or something, yes it would be early but it would make you feel great. Those are my thoughts.
ReplyDeleteLOve you, Kitt.
I just wanted to tell you that I think you are both awesome for doing this. keep up the good work and blow those goals out of the water!
ReplyDeleteYou guys are doing great!! Lindsey, that mile in 10min is great. That is about my average time, if I only run mile I can do it quicker but right now that is about how long it takes me too. It is kind of amazing what working out can do for energy levels, seems contradictory but it's true. Jack, I think that you should do both, but I would work on muscle now because it will be easy to be like, why do I need to workout if I can lose weight anyway, plus muscle is always nice, no need to be a wimp. JK. Anyway, you guys are doing great keep it up.
