Panda Express; I usually ordered 1/2 fried rice (8 pts.) 1/2 noodles (4), orange chicken (10), Beijing beef (16), and sweet fire chicken breast (10).---Total = 48 pts in one meal!
Dunkin Donuts; Apple Fritter (9) and a cake donut (8); ---Total = 17 pts in one dessert round (I hate to admit it but sometimes I would have the panda and doughnuts in one evening. That's over 2 days worth of points in one sitting. That's disgusting.)
Texas Roadhouse: 1 roll (5pts, I'd usually eat about 6 with my meal), and a full rack of ribs (24); ---Total = 54 points plus sides!!!
Ouch! I was killing myself. Don't do this.

Yesterday was an active day. I ran my usual then mowed lawn for the second day this week. I ran 6 miles this week and while that might not sound like a lot to some, it is amazing to me since I did it in 4 days. Today was REALLY hard.
I started running when we moved here and I weighed 195. It has been 5ish months and I have lost 15 pounds. I am losing weight faster than Baby is gaining. haha.
When I started running my 1.5 route, it took 20 minutes and I m down to 18 (even on the 4 day in the week :)) Right now, I am focusing more on being in shape and fit (and training for 5k) than weight loss. I think that is fine though because the weight is still coming off.

You two are AWESOME!!!!!! One reason, Lindsey, you are losing weight is because you are sticking to the weight loss plan, running, AND NOT focusing on food. I love that you can do this! And , Jack, I am so proud of you for what you are learning about yourself AND doing for yourself and your family! I'm so proud of you for going after this! Baby, if she could talk, would probably say something like "Thanks Mom and Dad for being so incredible! I will probably be running with you someday Mom and we'll have a Dad to tell all about it to! Love you!" Keep up the awesomeness! I love you so much. Mom
ReplyDeleteCongrats you two!!! You absolutely amaze me. Lindsay that is great that you ran 4 days and have an 18 min. That is so good, and don't worry in time you really will go down in time, just stick with it and stay in the running movement even if it is faster to walk. Thanks for all your inspiration guys. One week at your house has helped me view my eating habits and style differently and is improving them, so thanks for helping me change. Keep up the great work you two are doing FANTASTIC you will be so grateful for the habits you are making right now. Love ya.
ReplyDeleteI really missed your 'check-in' today! You are inspiring to people, so don't stop! You have inspired me and I'm back on track. This is my first week and it has been hard; but I always feel better about myself when I am trying. On the weeks when I don't lose any (or maybe even gain a bit) or only lose about a 1/4 of a pound, I wonder if it is worth it; but YES it is; most likely, if I weren't trying I would have gained more. Keep those of us who are following you in touch. You are amazing and I want you to keep going - you are doing great! NEVER, NEVER, NEVER give up! Love you.
